Delete Your Account

We're sorry to see you go. Here's everything you need to know before you delete your account.

How to Delete Your Account

You can delete your Decydo account directly from within the app at any time. No need to contact us.

STEP 1

Open the App

Open Decydo on your Android device and make sure you are signed in.

STEP 2

Go to Settings

Tap your profile picture in the top-right corner of the home screen to open your Settings.

STEP 3

Scroll to Account Management

Scroll down in Settings until you see the "Account" section.

STEP 4

Tap "Delete Account"

Tap the red "Delete Account" button. You will be asked to confirm before anything is deleted.

What Gets Deleted

When you delete your account, the following data is permanently removed:

Your Firebase Authentication account (email, Google Sign-In link)
Your Firestore user profile (display name, photo, subscription status, credits)
All group lobbies you created
Your voting history and swipe preferences
Your expense and receipt data
Your push notification tokens

⚠️ Account deletion is permanent and cannot be undone. Once you confirm deletion, your data cannot be recovered. If you have an active Decydo Pro subscription, please cancel it in Google Play before deleting your account to avoid further charges.

What Is NOT Deleted

Your Google Play subscription (you must cancel this separately in Google Play Settings → Subscriptions)
Anonymized, aggregated data used for product analytics (no personally identifiable information)

How Long Does Deletion Take?

Account deletion is processed immediately. All personally identifiable data is removed from our active systems within seconds. Any residual data in automated backups is purged within 30 days.

Can't Access the App?

If you cannot access the app to delete your account, email us directly at:
decydo2415@gmail.com

Include your registered email address and we will manually delete your account within 30 days.
