Please read these Terms of Service ("Terms") carefully before using the Decydo mobile application operated by Decydo ("we", "us", or "our").

By accessing or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you disagree with any part of the Terms, you may not access the Service.

1. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years of age to use the Service. By creating an account, you represent and warrant that you are 18 or older and that your use of the Service is in compliance with all applicable laws and regulations.

2. User Accounts

You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials.
You may not use another person's account without their explicit permission.
You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account.
We reserve the right to terminate accounts that violate these Terms.

3. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

Use the Service for any unlawful purpose or in violation of these Terms
Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any part of the Service or its servers
Use automated scripts or bots to interact with the Service (automated voter spam is strictly prohibited)
Upload content that is harmful, offensive, or infringes the rights of others
Reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract the source code of the app
Resell or commercialize access to the Service without our written consent

4. User Content

You retain ownership of any content you submit to the Service (such as custom place names or notes). By submitting content, you grant us a limited, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to use, store, and display that content solely for the purpose of operating the Service.

5. Subscriptions & Payments

Decydo Pro subscriptions are billed on a recurring basis (monthly or annually) through Google Play.
All purchases are final and non-refundable, except as required by applicable law or Google Play's refund policy.
You may cancel your subscription at any time from Google Play settings. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period.
One-time add-on purchases (e.g., credit packs) are consumable and non-refundable once used.

6. Intellectual Property & Copyright

The Decydo application, including its name, logo, visual design, branding, original content, features, and functionality — such as the group consensus algorithm, swipe-to-decide queue, group lobbies, availability matching, and expense ledger — are protected by copyright and other intellectual property laws.

All content and software within the Service is the exclusive property of Decydo and its licensors. No part of this application may be reproduced, distributed, modified, or used to create derivative works without our express prior written permission. Our trademarks, service marks, and trade dress may not be used in connection with any product or service without our prior written consent.

7. Disclaimers

The Service is provided on an "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" basis without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of viruses. Recommendations generated by our AI are suggestions only — we hold no liability for booking details, directions, or the accuracy of third-party information.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Decydo shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of or inability to use the Service, even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages.

9. Data & Group Lobbies

Group lobbies are temporary, dynamic spaces. While we make every effort to persist active voting sessions, Decydo holds no warranties regarding shared swipe history retention beyond standard transaction cycles. Inactive group lobbies are automatically deleted after 30 days.

10. Termination

We may terminate or suspend your account immediately, without prior notice, if you breach these Terms. Upon termination, your right to use the Service will immediately cease. You may also delete your account at any time via Settings → Delete Account in the app.

11. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will provide notice of significant changes by updating the "Last updated" date. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes your acceptance of the new Terms.
